1. Ensure the best mold clearance. Mold clearance refers to the sum of the clearance on both sides of the punch when it enters the lower die. Different plate thickness, different materials should choose different clearance of the lower die. Selection of appropriate mold clearance, can ensure good punching quality, reduce burr and collapse, keep the sheet flat, effectively prevent material, prolong the life of the mold.
2. Due to the pressure and heat during stamping, the fine particles of the sheet will be bonded to the surface of the punch, resulting in poor punching quality. The removal of sticky material can be polished with fine oilstone, and the grinding direction should be the same as the movement direction of the punch.
3, if in a plate punching is very porous, should be cut every other hole, and then return to punching the rest of the hole, so effectively alleviate the stress accumulation in the same direction of the order of punching, will also make the stress before and after the two groups of holes offset each other, so as to reduce the deformation of the plate.
4, try to avoid punching too narrow strip material. When the die is used for punching the width is less than the thickness of the plate, the punch will be bent and deformed due to the lateral force, so that the clearance on one side is too small or the wear is aggravated, and the lower die will be scratched seriously, so that the upper and lower die will be damaged at the same time.
5. Timely grinding can effectively prolong the service life of the mould. When the edge of the die is worn and produces a circular arc with a radius of about 0.10mm, the edge grinding is required. When grinding the edge, the grinding amount is 0.03~0.05mm each time, and the grinding is repeated until the punch is sharp. After grinding the edge, polish the edge with an oilstone to remove burrs, and apply lubricating oil after demagnetization treatment.
6. Regularly check the neutrality of the upper and lower die seats of the rotary table. If the neutral position of the punch is not good, the die will be quickly passivated and the processing quality of the workpiece will deteriorate. Check and lubricate the die holes and guide keys on the turntable, and repair them in time if there is any damage. Clean the lower die seat of the turntable, so that the lower die is installed accurately, and check the wear of its keys or keyways, and replace them if necessary; Use special mandrel to calibrate the mold station. If there is any deviation, adjust it in time.
7, when the soft or viscous materials (such as aluminum); Abrasive materials (such as glass epoxy sheets) that are diluted; Hardened materials (such as stainless steel); Frequent point punch, can use surface hardening (using titanium plating, nitriding and other methods, the surface hardening layer for the thickness of 12~60μm of molecular structure) punch.
8. The forming mold should gradually fine-tune the hitting head from the lowest position to the appropriate position, otherwise it is easy to break the mold.
